Reaching out for mental health support takes courage. You should never have to wonder who else might see what you share. This page explains, in plain words, how Manosanchay protects your privacy — and what you can always count on.
Our promises to you
Only your care team sees your records
Your treatment notes and everything about your care are visible only to you and the professionals treating you.
Never listed, never public
Clients are never listed anywhere on Manosanchay. Only professionals and clinics who choose to appear are shown in the directory.
Never sold, never advertised to
We never sell your information, and we never share it for advertising or marketing. Not now, not later.
You stay in control
Your details are shared for a referral only with your clear consent, and you can always say no.
Therapy is personal — and you set the pace
Good therapy sometimes means talking about difficult, private things: your feelings, your relationships, what you’ve been through. To understand you and help you well, your professional may ask personal questions — and some of them can be very personal.
You never have to answer anything you don’t want to. If a question feels like too much, or you simply aren’t ready, you can just say, “I’d rather not answer that.” That is completely okay, and a good professional will respect it.
Whatever you choose to share stays within your care team.
Who can see your information
Your records and treatment details are kept private. This is exactly who can see them:
You — always
You can see your own information from your dashboard whenever you like.
The professional treating you
Your assigned therapist works with your records from their own secure dashboard. If you are seen at a clinic, that clinic’s care team works with them, under the clinic’s own confidentiality duties.
No one else
Not other clients, not other clinics, not the public — and not employers, insurers or family members. Nothing about you is ever published.
What about Manosanchay itself? Our team doesn’t browse client records. Access to the systems that hold them is limited to what is needed to keep the service running and secure, and it is recorded in audit logs.
How we keep it safe
Encrypted connections
Everything travels between your device and our servers over encrypted connections, so it can't be read on the way.
Strict, role-based access
Each person sees only what their role needs. Every clinic's information is kept completely separate from every other clinic's.
Access is recorded
Audit logs record when sensitive records are opened, so there is always a trail of who looked and when.
Verified accounts
Every client account is verified with a phone and email code, so each request a professional receives comes from a real person.
Secure hosting
Your information is held on secured servers, protected by restricted access credentials.
When information may be shared — and only then
Outside your care team, your information moves in only these situations:

A referral you agree to
If you need another therapist or a doctor, we can help connect you. Only basic details are shared, only with your clear consent, and only with the person you agree to. If you don't consent, nothing is shared.

Your safety, or the law
In rare situations — for example, if you or someone else is at serious risk of harm, or the law requires it — your professional may need to act to keep someone safe. Only what is necessary is shared.

Services that help us run Manosanchay
A few trusted providers help us operate the platform — for example secure hosting, video sessions, phone and email verification, and payments. They are used only to provide that service.

Recording and AI-assisted notes — only if you agree
A session is never recorded or transcribed without your consent. If you and your professional choose AI-assisted note-taking, that needs its own separate consent; the session text is then processed by an AI service only to help draft your professional's note. Audio is deleted right after it is turned into text, and full transcripts are not kept — only your professional's own notes.
For professionals and clinics
Only professionals and clinics appear in the public directory, and only after Manosanchay has reviewed them and they have given their own explicit, revocable consent. They choose exactly what shows on their public profile — and can opt out at any time.
Your choices, your questions
